Steam Engines aka Locomotives

Steam Engines aka Locomotives! Big, smoky, noisy and they get the right-of-way. One of my favorite subjects, but photographing trains can be difficult. First, they are black (at least the old ones), move fast if you are chasing them and their best side is on the other side of the track. I nailed this one while he was almost asleep. For the techies: Nikon D300 and 70-300 4.0-5.6 at f20.0, 1/250sec no fill flash (that might have been nice). I’ll have more in the future.
